PRAETORIAN project is innovation program, financed from EU Horizon 2020 research. Total value of the project is 9,04 M€ and duration is two years. International Zagreb Airport is partner in the project together with other 22 partners from 7 EU countries.
PRAETORIAN strategic goal is to increase the security and resilience of European CIs, facilitating the coordinated protection of interrelated CI against combined physical and cyber threats.
The PRAETORIAN toolset will support the security managers of Critical Infrastructures (CI) in their decision making to anticipate and withstand potential cyber, physical or combined security threats to their own infrastructures and other interrelated CIs that could have a severe impact on their performance and/or the security of the population in their vicinity.
In the scope of the project four products have been developed to provide a coordinated and effective action towards security threats and attacks: Cyber situation awareness system (CSA), Physical situation awareness system (PSA), Hybrid situation awareness system (HSA) and Coordinated response (CR). Four live demonstrations of the developed tools will take place at 9 Critical infrastructures in three European countries, Croatia, France and Spain. The first live demonstration took place at Zagreb Airport in March and has been evaluated as successful on the project level.
