Passengers at Zagreb Airport have the opportunity to go back in time for a moment and get acquainted with Croatian cultural heritage and tradition through the newly opened exhibition of Croatia national costumes from the collection of FA Turopolje.
The exhibition of costumes from the 19th and 20th centuries will take you back in time, revive the heritage of our ancestors and show only a small part of the wealth and beauty of the Croatian national heritage. The exhibited folk costumes from Turopolje, Split, Lika, Konavle, Ravni Kotar, Vrlica, Bratina, Sisak Posavina, Slavonia, Bizovac, Baranja and Krk were worn during various ceremonies such as weddings, baptisms, holidays, and each of them tells its own story.
The exhibition is made in collaboration with the local Town of Velika Gorica Tourist Board.
