Franjo Tuđman Airport continues achieving records in passengers' numbers. Last year, the airport has, for the first time in its history, welcomed 3-millionth passenger. This year, this impressive result was achieved today, on Thursday November 15th, 34 days earlier than last year. Lucky, 3-millionth passenger takes Croatia Airlines OU470 flight from Zagreb to Paris.
Media representatives and representatives of Franjo Tuđman Airport and Croatia Airlines welcomed the 3-millionth passenger at the event organized in the check-in area. The selected passenger was surprised by the choice, prizes and best wishes by representatives of the airport and airline.
Laurent Tiaffay, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of MZLZ Jsc congratulated the lucky passenger and gave him a shopping coupon in amount of 200 EUR to be used in Aelia Duty Free Shop in Franjo Tuđman Airport and said:
"I congratulate our 3-milionth passenger and would like to thank all passengers who have been using the services of Franjo Tudman Airport in this year. It is important to emphasize that this year our airport continues recording significant increase in all segments - passengers number new airlines and new destinations. 3-millionth passenger of Franjo Tuđman Airport in 2018 is Jesus Romero from Sevilla, who said:
"I am very surprised and happy and would like to thank everybody for the prize and a warm welcome. This is my second time in Zagreb, Zagreb is a beautiful city, I am bringing my wife next time!"
